How to Make a Match House without Glue



Steps for Making Match Stick House:
1.At first place 2 matches parallel to each other and a little less than the length of a match in distance apart on a piece of paper.
2. Then put 8 matches on top of the first 2 matches.
3. Try to make then evenly spaced apart.
4. Then place again the matches in perpendicular to the previous layer.
5. Then repeat the steps of 2, 3 and 4 to build up the sides up to 8 layers tall with the match heads aligned perpendicular to the previous.
6. On the top, add 8 more matches across, match heads aligned opposite as the bottom.
7. After that add 6 matches across the previous matches.
8. After finishing the placing of matches, place a coin on top thus to act as weight and to protect from reshaping of the matches aligned.
9. Then pressing on the coin at the center of the top, insert a match in to each corner to fill up the gaps of the house model.
10. If there is no space between the lower matches carefully spread them with other match.
11. Check whether any gaps between the matches, if there is gap insert the match to make them strong and flexible.
12. After all, the matches are inserted straighten it.
13. After the proper arrangement, remove the coin with a match stick, now they are settled up in the proper place, so you can remove the coin.
14. The wall consist of two layers, one vertical and one horizontal.
15. So, insert a vertical layer for one side of the house with the match stick.
16. Repeat step 15 for other three sides.
17. Then, add a horizontal layer to all 4 sides, with the match heads going contrary to the previous side.
18. Then twig up the match sides in one side with the rubber band to make it settle and strong up in that place.
19. Repeat this step 18 for other three sides also.
20. Then remove the rubber bands after some time.
21. Push the matches in the top outer premier halfway up.
22. Then, put a row of 8 matches’ perpendicular to the upper layer.
23. Between the vertical matches insert alternating rows with 2 less every second layer so it slopes upward.
24. Then, insert sloping matches with the heads to the middle.
25. Insert some matches for window.
26. Cut the matches in half to make them easier to fit inside.
27. Add a door with the sticks.
28. Insert 4 matches in the roof to make the chimney.
Now your match house is ready.
