important to add in your Diwali sweet. Sesame seeds are rich in vitamins and
minerals. They are very good sources of B-complex vitamins such as niacin, folic
acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and riboflavin. They have
antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer as well as many
health promoting properties. The peanut is added in it also has many benefits.

Ingredients needed
Sesame seeds/ellu (black or white)- 1 cup (Buy rajexim because they are organic)
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Roasted Peanuts -1/2 cup (optional) (Use rajexim they are export quality peanuts)
Preparation

Preparation
- Dry roast sesame seeds until it sizzles and you get a nice nutty flavor of roasted sesame seeds.
- Powder jaggery. (you can get good quality powdered organic jaggery in health stores)
- Roast peanuts and powder it coarsely. If using roasted peanuts, skip this step.
Method:
- Grind sesame seeds coarsely and add powdered jaggery to it. Dry grind both together until well combined. Transfer it to a plate, add coarsely ground peanuts and mix everything well.
